How do we know we can save you money? 

To demonstrate the savings we achieve for you and other Members, we measure the discounts we agree against authenticated benchmark prices that non-AF Members pay.

We regularly review and refresh the AF Savings Tracker. This chart gives you data we collected between 2023, 2024 & 2025.

General Inputs & Construction

  • AF prices are comparing against a competitive standard trade price, if compared against an on the shelf RRP the saving would look even greater.

  • This was done to give a more realistic representation of savings against what a Member may achieve themselves.

  • Electronic devices compared against current RRP.

  • Prices collated from 1st May 23 and updated quarterly.

  • Prices valid for both nationwide collection and delivery.

  • No minimum order value.

Crop Protection

  • AF prices are compared against market levels and Farmers Weekly benchmarking.

  • Prices from 2023 season onwards.

  • Prices valid for nationwide delivery.

  • No minimum order value.

Electricity

  • AF prices compared against direct non-AF renewal quotes.

Fertiliser

  • Tracked against AHDB prices.

  • Prices from 2023 season onwards.

  • Prices valid for nationwide delivery.

  • No minimum order value.

Fuels

  • Gas oil & kerosene prices compared against market leading independent fuel brokers average prices over set periods of time.

  • Fuel card savings compared against average UK Gov pump prices.

Insurance

  • Saving based on the Aviva PMI price beater. Working with ABG, AF will work to save up to 10% on PMI group schemes available elsewhere.

Renewables

  • Comparisons made against annual data from: https://mcscertified.com/ - MCS-certified 65kW solar PV systems in the UK cost an estimated £55,250 to £58,500 in 2025. This is based on an average price range of £850 to £900 per kilowatt (kW) for commercial installations of similar size (80kW–100kW systems). The average of this price range is: £56,875 per installation.

  • AF data for x9 PV systems that were installed in 2025, with an average overall system size of 65kW, the average system price for the PV portion was approximately £48,695

  • The AF data is for the middle 50% range of our installation sizes and excludes the larger and smaller systems purchased in 2025.

  • Based on this the average saving across this range over the MCS figure was ~14.4%. After adding a tolerance of around 15% to this figure, AF has achieved a 12.2% saving on renewable projects in 2025.

Telecoms & Broadband

  • Mobiles – based on EE,O2 and Vodafone Business sim only Unlimited Uk calls, texts & UK Data 24 month contract terms, against the networks direct (Not MVNO – Mobile Virtual Network Operators). Like for like tariffs with similar/same roaming costs/benefits, unrestricted throttled speeds.

  • Broadband - FTTP: compared against 4 broadband business tariffs online FTTP 115/20 24 month contract terms: AF saving 12.7% on average. SoGEA (Partial Fibre): compared against 4 broadband business tariffs online SoGEA 80/20 24 month contract terms.

Tyres

  • Prices compared against retail.

  • AF prices include fitting.

  • AF prices are valid nationwide.

  • No minimum order value.

Vehicles

  • Prices compared against manufacturer OTR (on the road) prices.

  • Prices correct as of 1st August.

Livestock Inputs

  • Vet medicines against a market leading supplier's RRP.

  • Feed compared against Defra & AHDB data.
