Originally from Yorkshire, East Anglia has been my home for the last seven years. I’ve been involved in crop production and protection since 2007.
I started my career in ornamental plant growing before moving into food production and agronomy.
I have a degree in Commercial Horticulture and have been a grower in both the UK and USA. I’ve also worked in technical roles focused on sustainable use of crop protection products.
Most recently I competed the commissioning of and managed crop protection at The Green House Growers, Norwich and Ely, before joining Fischer Farms as Head of Agronomy for the largest vertical farm in the world.
I am a BASIS (Hort) and FACTS qualified advisor and have had the pleasure of being on the other end of the course as an examiner too.
I’m really happy to have joined the AF team as Crop Protection Procurement Manager and look forward to making a positive and meaningful contribution to our Members’ business success.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me either with my children or chasing rain around the country to go whitewater kayaking.
