TwoCan Mentor is a structured mentoring programme for the food, farming and agriculture sector, founded in 2023 by 2022 Nuffield Farming Scholar Helen Wyman. The programme is built on two years of international research into what makes mentoring effective and is grounded in a Nuffield Farming Scholarship report on the topic.
TwoCan matches within the food and farming sector but deliberately across different roles and specialisms - a livestock farmer with someone in arable, a primary producer with a food supply-chain leader, a farm business owner with someone in agri-food research, processing or policy. Over 300 professionals have completed the programme across eight cohorts.
