Something we don't know about you: I was regional champion for “chicken trussing and dressing” two years in a row when in Young Farmers.
Sales and Production Manager, H F Produce Limited/Agricola Growers Limited
Current focus: we rely heavily on primarily Eastern European labour and it continues to be more challenging to find. We're looking at ways to incorporate automated machinery to improve our efficiencies whilst remaining sustainable.
Something we don't know about you: I used to work at AF! I completed my university placement year in the Biomass, Livestock and Marketing departments in 2016/2017. My parents (from Cornwall, where we're still based now) moved to Norfolk in 1993 for my Dad’s job at the time, and during my year in Norfolk I seemed to meet almost every farmer they had met 23 years earlier!

Something we don't know about you: a hidden hobby of mine is planning itineraries and exploring new places. I love researching destinations, finding the best places to eat and creating the perfect day out or trip. I'm usually the designated planner for my friends and family, and enjoy discovering hidden gems and making sure everyone gets the most out of every experience!

Something we don't know about you: before farming I had a background as a racing driver.
Farm Business Consultant, Ceres Rural
Current focus: helping farm businesses remain profitable while adapting to changes in agricultural policy and support schemes. A particular challenge as part of this is balancing environmental opportunities with commercial resilience particularly as landowners navigate uncertainty around future funding and business planning.
Something we don't know about you: growing up I used to have a pet Swan which used to wait at the kitchen door for me and follow me round the garden!
Agricultural Liaison Officer, Dalcour Maclaren
Current focus: balancing diversification whilst still maintaining our core farming values. We run a growing events company so it's important to maintain and consider soil structure, grassland recovery, grazing rotations and biodiversity as we expand our event offering. Also to maintain safety whilst welcoming members of the public to our farm without compromising our farming practises.
Something we don't know about you: I’m originally from South Africa. I have no family farming background but am lucky enough to live and work on a farm with people who have become my family. Even though I am very English, I’ll still support the Springboks in the rugby!

Dairy Farmer and Trainee Solicitor, WG Brown and Sons Ltd and Roythornes Solicitors

Something we don't know about you: I'm an avid drone pilot that I both use for my own footage as well as on the estate.
Farm Manager, Elveden Farms Ltd
Current focus: is identifying how we can improve resilience to the increasingly frequent extreme weather events affecting agricultural production. It's essential that we continue to produce high-quality, high-value vegetable crops consistently despite the pressures. Achieving this will require improvements in water management, application efficiency, and investment in water storage and irrigation infrastructure.

At 13, I held the British Under-14 record in the 100m butterfly, a fact that usually surprises people! These days, however, I spend far more time running than anywhere near a swimming pool, so it's a chapter of my life that not many people would guess.
