Estate/Farm Manager

Locale: King’s Lynn


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a farm manager on a 4500-acre mixed farm in central Norfolk producing combinable crops, sugar beet and let irrigated roots together
with Suckler Herd and Sheep Flock, as well as woodland management. A good understanding of biodiversity and conservation. The position will suit an ambitious individual with a strong level of competency of both practical and technical work and be willing to partake in all aspects of the farming business. Good financial planning skills, performance monitoring and a keenness to incorporate new farming practices, environmental schemes, and carbon footprint savings into farming. Essentially – We are looking for Tomorrow’s Farmer.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold PA1, PA2 and Telehandler certificates
  • Competent IT skills including Muddy Boots GLG or similar
  • A degree in agriculture or similar qualification
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience
  • Able to work as part of a team and display excellent leadership
  • Have comprehensive experience of this type of mixed enterprise
  • BASIS and FACTS qualified would be an advantage,

Remuneration commensurate with experience.
